The six iris petals are stitched in diagonal peyote stitch, and on three of them a partial petal is added. Thread tension gives this 3d flower its typical shape. The stem is in Ndebele stitch, and the leaves are diagonal peyote stitch. One by itself is pretty as a pin. A few stitched together make a great spring adornment, bracelet or necklace.
